Stress

High stress can have a psychological effect which can be in the form of anger or aggression, feeling out of control, insomnia, tiredness or fatigue, sadness, lack of concentration issues or other symptoms.

If you remain in stress for a longer time it may result in depression, anxiety or burnout, among other issues. Stress can also lead to high blood pressure, and a higher risk of heart disease, diarrhoea, indigestion, migraine, and back or neck pain.

This is why stress management is important for your wellbeing and to improve your mental health.

Anxiety is a common thing among many people. You may feel stressed and find it difficult to relax, you may withdraw from people and places, cut off from friends and daily routines, feel agitated or uneasy, have difficulty in sleep, etc.
