Children’s Day at AAF
Children’s Day is celebrated every year on 14 November in India to make everyone aware of children’s rights. Children are the most exquisite; if not handled with care they may have the tendency to get maimed, physically and mentally.
“The children of today will make the India of tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the future of the country.” – Jawaharlal Nehru
Significance of Children’s Day
Why is the recognition of Children’s Day important?
Children’s Day is celebrated all over the world and it is important to understand the rights of children on this day. Such as early education, early childhood care, protection from abuse and exploitation, and equal opportunities to grow in a healthy environment. It is necessary to create worldwide awareness about these rights and improve the welfare of children.
Children & Mental Health
Children are always on the verge of a critical stage of mental health. They need to be in a healthy and positive state while growing up so that they can develop healthy psychological and physical conditions in later life.
It is not only the responsibility of the parents but the family, teachers and every human being to take care of the child in their life. Therefore creating a healthy environment for every child should be our motto.
The celebrated actress, author, speaker, yogini, and AAF founder and director, Anu Aggarwal, focuses on maximising potential in children’s lives and building happiness within them. She has revolutionized yoga through her unique AnuFunYoga sessions and has changed the way people look at mental health.
Because a child’s mental health is as important as their physical health which helps them deal with stress, sadness and much more. So it becomes a huge responsibility for us to protect them not only from physical harm but also from mental harm. And give our full support to them so they can thrive in a positive environment.
Let us all celebrate the innocence and purity of all children and create the safe space they deserve.
